Rocketing from 0100 km/h in less than 4 seconds the car beats down a Dodge Viper like the dog that it is but it still isn't going to get you much further than a day trip to Stellenbosch.Electric cars have been around for a while now but a number of flaws in the concept prevent us from seeing them on our roads in a useful capacity instead of on display stands at swanky European car shows surrounded by halfnaked women and admiring photographers.The two biggest problems with an electric car are its power (or lack thereof) and its limited range while its biggest plus is its lack of filthy ozonewrecking emissions. But let's face it offer a bloke the choice between saving the planet or being able to drop a Beemer for dead at the traffic lights and the answer becomes predictable.Me I'd like to be able to accomodate both and the makers of the new Tango seem inclined to ag ...
