Assemble the harness support rods as shown below using the provided heim joints and nuts. Leave at least of threadshowing on each heim joint to allow for adjustment during installation. Do not fully tighten the nuts at this time. NOTE: The end of the support rod with the line around it is reverse thread. There are 2 reverse thread heim joints and nuts aswell. 2. On both sides of the vehicles interior unsnap the plastic upper seat belt bolt cover and remove the upper bolt as shown here. Disassemble the factory hardware. SPARCO HARNESS BAR 19931998 TOYOTA SUPRA PART # 30014Page 23. Using the factory hardware as shown here install the harness bar into the vehicle. Do not fully tighten at this time.4. Remove the factory seat bolt cover and remove the bolt. Remove the lower belt mountbolt. 5. Connect the lower support rod bracket to the factory belt mounting location using the hardware shown here. Preinstall the bolt for the support rod before installing bracket into vehicle (see next page).Page 36. This is how the bracket should look once installed inthe vehicle.7. Connect the support rods to the lower bracket and harness bar with the supplied bolts nuts and washers. 8. Check for proper installation and adjust as necessary. Tighten all bolts and nuts. The finished installation should look likethis:
