Personal security while traveling is a pressing concern, not only abroad but also in the United States. This guide contains proven guidelines to reduce the risks of being victimized by a criminal or terrorist assault, a kidnapping, or the theft of sensitive corporate information. No protective system or device can do much to enhance a travelers security if he or she does not make an effort to be aware of potential danger and adhere to prudent security practices.
