Search INFOLINKS the Online Catalog This is a database of the University Libraries holdings which include books, journals, magazines, and newspapers by title, microforms, government documents, music scores, audio and visual recordings, maps, and some materials in special collections. INFOLINKS is not an index of articles in magazines and periodicals. Do not use it to look for articles. However, it serves as a gateway to full-text electronic journals. Search using KEYWORDS that may be a part of the title, subject, author and content note field. Example: organic compounds. For properties, use the specific property name (e.g. solubility, spectra, toxicology.) For collections of data, use handbooks or tables. If nothing comes up, try a broader class term, or try your class term without a qualifier. When you find a relevant record, check its subject headings for alternative terminology. Similarly, use keyword searches to find books on particular methods or reactions (e.g., addition reactions and ring formation). Searching INFOLINKS for a single compound is unlikely to produce any results. You may also wish to browse in the book stacks. Check the index in the back of the book for the desired compound.
