The SAPapplications include finance sales marketingmanufacturing and supply chain managementmodules and incorporate the SAP Enterprise Portal.The Cisco network includes a single global IPplatform with wireless LAN access allowing thecompanys mobile technical and project consultantsto connect to the corporate LAN via public accesspoints located in airports train stations shops andother public areas.Increasingly availability or performance problems for the 8000 global users of the SAP ERPapplications that serve as the missioncritical foundation for the business could severely affectproduct production shipments and therefore revenue.
