Schulz (based on theannual television special)Time to Create!Step 1: Using the back side of your September calendar page (upsidedown)draw an outline of a pumpkin for your child. Make sure to leave some extraspace at the top of the page for the binding. Using the orange paint your fingeror a paint brush outline the pumpkin shape you drew to act as a guide for yourchild to follow.Step 2: Pour some orange paint onto your foil or paper plate. Your child can useeither his/her hands or a paint brush to paint their pumpkin. While your childspumpkin is drying he/she can begin drawing different faces onto the blackconstruction paper for them to cut out. (Your child can use black paint for theface once the orange paint is dry.) Once the pumpkin is dry pour the green paint onto your foil and have your child place his/her hand into it. Take yourchilds green hand and press into place to make the leaves on his/her pumpkin as shown in the image above. Make as many leaves as your child would like.Step 3: Now have your child paint or glue his/her pumpkins face in place. Thepumpkin is now complete! Dont forget to label this month October somewhere on your calendar page. Have fun!
