Long summary:

Chipboard pieces in different shapesGesso (white acrylic paint)Decoupage glueN apkins with motivesM agnetic sheet Scissors + paintbrushes

What youll need:
1. Paint In this project Ive used small pre-cut chipboard pieces in different shapes: square, round and rectan-gular. Start by covering each piece with gesso. Paint one side and around on the edges. This will be messy but you can wash of the paint from your ngers when youre nished.

2. Cut it out Use a small sharp scissor and cut out the motive you like to use. You can either cut around the motive as a shape or cut the size a little bit bigger than the chipboard so that you can cover the entire surface and around the edges. Separate the napkin layers so that you only use the rst one!

This is the best part if you ask me. Time to take out the decoupage glue. Cover the board piece with decoupage glue using your paint brush, then carefully lay the napkin on top. Be careful not to rip or tear the fragile paper. Paint on top with decoupage glue to protect the surface and smooth out the bubbles. Bring down the edges with your ngers and bend them around to glue them to the backside.

3. Decoupage time! 3. Magnet gluing When everything is dry its time to nish these cuties! Cut out the magnet from a magnet sheet and glue them to the backside of each board. The dont have to t perfectly, because you can trim with a scissor if its visible later.

4. Enjoy your magnets! This is a easy and fast little project that you can do on your own or with kids. Why not make a little magnet set and give as a gift! Have fun! Tip: If you dont want to get glue and paint on your work surface spread it out on newspaper! My magnets are shabby chic-style!
