Eachactivity will take about 515 minutes to complete.BACKGROUND:A hobby is a pursuit engaged in for relaxation. Children need to explore a widevariety of areas to help them discover topics which interest them entertain themand help them to utilize and expand their creativity. These experiences help teachthem fine and largemotor skills as well as organizing and planning. They canalso develop interests which last a lifetime either as a longterm hobby or anoccupation.When we think of a hobby we think of a pastime that is pursued in ones freetime or what we call leisure time.In todays society use of leisure time is very important. Americans have moreleisure time to pursue hobbies and special interests after they work than did anyof our ancestors.
