The QCT applicationas an HTMLbased Java Script program runs on the users workstation using Microsoft Internet Explorer. Cisco Systemsoffers the QCT application to partners for free download on Cisco.com.Using the QCT application a Cisco reseller partner or system administrator can dramatically reduce the time required to configure an IP telephonysolution based on Cisco CallManager Express and Cisco Unity Express as compared to manually performing the configuration of Cisco IOSSoftware Cisco CallManager Express and Cisco Unity Express subsystems using their respective commandline interfaces (CLIs). An IP telephonyconfiguration based on Cisco CallManager Express and Cisco Unity Express for an SMB with 50 phones or fewer can easily be completed in lessthan one hour using the QCT application.Figure 1.
